DEEP TISSUE
Deep tissue massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses movements and techniques to help
break-up built-up of harden plaque in the tissue. The pressure will generally be more intense than swedish massage. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.")
It's important to drink a lot of water after a massage or to help flush lactic acid out of the tissues. If you don't, you might be sore the next day.
SWEDISH MASSAGE
In swedish massage gentle soft strokes are used to increases circulation and remove toxins from muscles. The therapist uses firm but gentle pressure to reduce friction, to compress and relax muscles. By far, the most popular benefit of Swedish Massage is that it is both relaxing and invigorating. It is an excellent way to help rid the body of tension and to achieve a sense of overall well-being.
HOT STONE MASSAGE
The use of hot stones was introduced by Mary Nelson as a technique, called LaStone Therapy, since, hot stone massage has been very popular through the country.
The stones are immersed in water and heated in a hot stone warmer until they are within a certain temperature range. Various shape and size stones are placed on specific points on the back, in the palms of the hand, or between the toes.
The heat relaxes the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure, if desired. The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system.
FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
The general public doesn't know there are over 7,000 nerve endings on the feet. Foot Reflexology is a gentle and delightful touch, hands-on energy bodywork that stimulate the nerve endings as a way to communicate to the rest of the body. The nervous system is like a map, when pressure is applied to these reflexes, it releases tension and congestion that one's body may hold to promote relaxation and stress reduction. To encourage balance, harmony, improve the circulation throughout your body it's required to have at least 30 minutes of foot reflexology or gemstone ear reflexology. You will feel as though you've received a full body massage, well balanced and rejuvenated.
REIKI
Reiki is know as an ancient Japanese form of energy healing and known as the universal life force energy used as a healing therapy to bring about emotional wholeness, for release of unwanted negative energy surrounding physical and spiritual problems.
Come experience these technique as a way to open up the bodies chakras, get rid of blockages and recharge your energy to move into a lighter space throughout the mind, body and spirit.
TESTIMONIALS:
After one reflexology session with Zoe,
I quickly scheduled another and then
signed on for a marvelous series of ten.
The sessions are unbelievably relaxing
and have clear health benefits. I suffer
from the occasional bout of vertigo,
and was quite pleased that within a
week of Zoe focusing on that issue
it dissipated, and has not returned.
She is very attentive and eager to
work with you on your aches, pains
and even stress abatement.
The sessions are lengthy, unhurried
and exactly what you look forward
to at the end of a long day.
A healthful treat that I wholeheartedly recommend!

______________
Zoe at Toe2Heal is a true healer with her hands. She listens to the clients' needs and delivers. I had regular sessions of reflexology on my poor plantar fasciitis feet which was completely gone by the time my 10 week package was over. I also enjoyed a few thai massage and reiki sessions. I also was on a path towards weight loss and I can say her work was a large part of my 75 pound weight loss journey to which I have maintained. She is sensitive to the needs of the client in the moment and I enjoyed her ability to improvise in the moment to find exactly what it is I needed. I am grateful I stumbled upon her and I highly recommend her services.
